Katharine M. Short and Ryan P. Ritter, both of Bloomington, were married at 4 p.m. May 27, 2009, at The Bellagio, Las Vegas, Nevada.
The bride's parents are Trey Short, Bloomington and Terri Payne, Cicero. The groom's parents are Stephen and Janet Ritter, Knoxville.
The reception was at Circo, Las Vegas.
The bride received a bachelor of science degree from Illinois State University, College of Business, in 2006. She is employed in retail management. The groom received a bachelor of science degree in criminal justice from Illinois State University in 1999. He is employed in law enforcement.

Ryan, Congrats. I just e-mail this to Bryan. You have my blessings and was great to see you and your lovely wife. Take care and tell your parents hello. I see you dad from time to time. Kara and Bryan are both in Georgia and Kara has 4 little ones. Bryan is still single and looking for "the one".
