Charles and Nancy Butterfield of Independence, Missouri are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Shannon Butterfield to Jesse Newport, son of Byron and Mindy Bruntmyer of Independence, Missouri. The bride-to-be is a 1999 graduate of Missouri State University and a 1995 graduate of William Chrisman High School employed by Design Resources in Overland Park. Her fiance is an aspiring musician. A wedding is planned in Independence, Missouri for October 3, 2009.
