Jessica McClafferty and Scott Craig Engagement

John (Jack) and Judith McClafferty of Wilmington are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Lindy McClafferty to Scott Allen Craig, son of Ronald Craig of Smyrna, and Gary and Janice Cassedy of Clayton.

Jessica is a 2001 graduate of Mount Pleasant High School, and received a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and International Business from Villanova University, graduating Cum Laude. Currently, the bride to be is pursuing an MBA in Finance from the University of Delaware with plans to graduate May, 2010. Jessica is employed as a Product Definition Manager at Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics, Inc. in Newark, Delaware. Scott is a 1999 graduate from Smyrna High School and received his undergraduate degree in Medical Technology and more recently his MBA, both from the University of Delaware. Scott is also employed at Siemens as a Technical Solutions Center Supervisor.

The couple became engaged in April 2009, when Scott proposed to Jessica after she crossed the finish line in her first half marathon at the Lower Delaware Autism Foundation 7th Annual Race at Cape Henlopen High School. Jessica and Scott will be married in Wilmington at the Hotel DuPont on October 9, 2010 with a reception following in the Gold Ballroom. The couple will reside in their new home in Wilmington.
