Jennifer Fifield and Donald McCon, Jr. were married on May 23, 2009 at a ceremony and reception at The Elms Resort and Spa in Excelsior Springs, Missouri. The Reverend Shawn Franssens officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Bart and Cathy Fifield of Independence, Missouri. The groom is the son of Donald McCon, Sr. of Bellevue, Nebraska, and Lisa Papineau of Port Huron, Michigan.
The bride is the granddaughter of Charlotte Fisher of Independence, Missouri, and the late Warren Fisher and Robert Fifield. Grandparents of the groom are Jerry and Nancy Busch, Paul McCon, and the late Lila McCon.
The bride was attended by Erin McGhee as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Stephanie Byrd and Lacy Simpson. The groom was attended by Jake Comeau as best man. Groomsmen were Kyle Christensen and Ronnie Tilman.
Flower girl was friend of the bride Katy McVay. Ushers were brother of the groom, David McCon and uncle of the groom, Darrell Busch. Reader was Reverend Carol Burhle. Guest book attendants were friend of the bride Amy McVay and sister of the groom Shannon McCon. Local radio host Ronnie Phillips served as DJ for the reception.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of Fort Osage High School and a 2004 graduate of Park University, with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. She is a probation officer in Jackson County, Missouri. The groom graduated in 2004 from Bellevue West in Bellevue, Nebraska, and is employed with The Union Pacific Railroad.
After a honeymoon in Florida, the couple will reside in Independence, Missouri. |
