Kleeman and Gulley to Wed in October

Sarah Anne Kleeman, daughter of Mary Kleeman and Tim Kleeman of San Luis Obispo, California, and Benjamin Charles Gulley, son of Charles and Cindy Gulley of Blue Springs, Missouri, will wed this fall at the Country Club United Methodist Church in Kansas City, Missouri. Sarah, who received her Bachelor of Music degree from California State University, Northridge, is a professional mezzo-soprano who performs in operas throughout the United States. Benjamin received his Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Missouri, Kansas City, and is completing his Performance Certification at UMKC in association with the Lyric Opera of Kansas City. Benjamin is a professional tenor, frequently performing in operas and other music venues throughout the country. Sarah and Ben met during the summer of 2008 on the Big Island of Hawaii while singing together in the Hawaii Performing Arts Festival.
