Michael J. Pasquale, MD

Age 54, of Hockessin, DE went to be with the Lord on September 17, 2009 after battling a rare form of Lymphoma.

Michael graduated Rutgers College of Pharmacy and became a Hospital Pharmacist. He then enrolled at the Virginia Commonwealth University medical school and graduated with high honors. Michael then trained at Penn State hospital in Hershey to receive his degree in Cardiology.

Settling in Hockessin in 1989, Michael has been a compassionate care giver to his many patients, an enthusiastic teacher of future Cardiologists, a joyful gardener and an avid tennis player. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Michael is survived by his wife, Eileen, three children, Christopher, Kimberly, and Nicole, his parents Carl and Gloria of Short Hills, NJ, eight brothers and sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.

Viewing and visitation will take place at the Chandler Funeral Home, 7230 Lancaster Pike, Hockessin from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday September 22nd. Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Michael's life will be held at Saint Mary of the Assumption Church on Wednesday September 23rd beginning at 11:00 am. Interment will be private.
