Elizabeth B. Loveland, age 100

Elizabeth B. Loveland, age 100, of Wilmington, Delaware passed away at Windsor Place on Monday, September 28, 2009.
She was born in 1909 in Krebs, Oklahoma to the late Joseph Brackett and Mary Jane Ingham Brackett. Elizabeth was a professional dressmaker and an acclaimed artist, having studied for many years under Frank Schoonover. Elizabeth was a woman of many interests and talents. She was an avid traveler, photographer, gardener, bridge player, gourmet cook, knitter and square dancer. She was an active honorary member of the American Association of University Women, the Wilmington Garden Club and local bridge clubs.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, David S Loveland Jr. and her sister Josephine Armstrong. Survivors include her son and daughter in-law, David S. Loveland III and Judy Loveland of Hockessin, DE, two grandchildren, Alyson Loveland of Philadelphia, PA and Jon Loveland and his wife Gina Loveland of Wilmington, DE and a niece, Bette Brackette of Philadelphia, PA
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the nurses and staff of Windsor Place and Compassionate Care Hospice.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 2 at CHANDLER FUNERAL HOME, 7230 Lancaster Pike, Hockessin. The family will receive friends from 10:15 to 11:00 prior to the service. Interment in Woodstown, New Jersey will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in her memory to your favorite charity.
