Jennifer Barton Marries David Ross

Jennifer Leigh Barton and David Michael Ross were married on May 2, 2009. The wedding took place on the farm of Mr. and Mrs. Charles B. Ross, Sr., in Clayton. The groom's father, Charles Ross Jr., was the officiate of the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Wayne and Jacquelyn Barton of Smyrna. The groom is the son of Charles and Laura Ross of Smyrna.

The Maid of Honor was Jessica Barton, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Ashley Willis, lifelong friend of the bride, Denise Boyles, sister of the groom, Melissa Urian, friend of the bride, and Samantha Baker, friend of the bride. With the help of her older sister, Kaelyn Press, our flower girl was Kirsten Johnson, who are both friends of the couple.

The Best Man was Kenneth Rife, longtime friend of the groom. The groomsmen were David Faulkner, friend of the groom, Chris Boyles, Groom's brother-in-law, Allen Thompson friend of the couple and Mark Lloyd, friend of the couple. The ring bearer was Chase Masten, friend of the couple.

The bride is a University of Delaware graduate in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Leadership. She is expected to complete her masters in Applied Technology at Wilmington University in December of 2009. She is currently employed by the Smyrna School District as a kindergarten teacher.

The groom is a Captain at the Clayton Fire Company. He is currently employed by the Town of Clayton.

A reception was held at the Clayton Fire Company in Clayton, Delaware. The couple spent their honeymoon in the Bahamas. The couple currently resides in Smyrna, Delaware.
