Emily Catherine Pratt and Matthew Thomas Perry exchanged wedding vows on the evening of May 24, 2009 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Kansas City, Missouri. The ceremony was officiated by Father Terry Bruce, a friend of the family. The bridal couples' parents are Mr. & Mrs Timothy A. Pratt of Lee's Summit, Missouri and Boston, Massachusetts and Mr. and Mrs. James L. Perry of Corpus Christi, Texas. The bride's grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Frank X. Geier of Independence, Missouri and the groom's grandmother is Mrs. Marilyn Diorio Rampp of Dallas, Texas. The bride was assisted by her sister, Maid of Honor, Alexandra Pratt while the groom honored his best friend, Marshall Thompson with Best Man duties. Bridesmaids included the bride's childhood friends, Liz Andrews and Jane Beal and the groom's sisters Caroline Perry and Lauren Perry. Groomsmen, included the groom's Texas friends, Monte Maxwell, Bryce Paine, Ryan Rogers and McKay Wood. Junior Attendants were the bride's nieces Taylor and Lauren Slattery and the groom's cousin Anna Marie Gibson. Annalynn Godbold and Rachel Gibson, cousins of the groom, served as candlelighters. The bride's brothers, the Honorable Bryan T. Pratt and Colby A. Pratt along with Perry family friend, Michael Walloch were ceremony ushers. Following a reception in the Rooftop Ballroom at the Intercontinental Hotel in Kansas City, Missouri, the couple left for a honeymoon touring the Greek Isles. They are at home in San Antonio, Texas were they will be resuming their medical school studies.
