Laura Anne Simmons and Aaron Louis Hughes exchanged wedding vows on the Saturday, October 17, 2009 at First Baptist Church of Blue Springs Missouri. The ceremony was officiated by Pastor Randall Stotts.

The bride is the daughter of Don and Norma Simmons of Blue Springs, Missouri. The groom is the son of Keith and Debbie Hughes of Jefferson City, Missouri.

The bride was attended by Rachel Simmons, sister of bride as maid of honor, Jennifer Burger, friend of bride, and Amy Hughes, sister of groom. The flower girl, Rowan Wilson is cousin of the bride.

The groom was attended by David Hughes, brother of groom as best man, Shawn DuMers, friend of groom, and Adam Simmons, brother of bride. The ring bearer, Maxson Simmons, is cousin of the bride.

The bride is a 2009 graduate of the University of Central Missouri and is currently working as an nurse at Children's Mercy Hospital in KC. The groom is also a 2009 graduate of UCM, and is working at Cerner as a systems engineer.

The couple will reside in Blue Springs, Missouri
