Stacy Lynn Attix and Eric Robert Wheeler were united in marriage on June 27, 2009 at Asbury United Methodist Church in Smyrna, Delaware.

The bride is the daughter of Darla & Gilbert Attix II of Smyrna. The groom is the son of Donna & Russell Brown and Linda & Larry Wheeler, both of Smyrna.

The bride wore a white and platinum strapless satin gown and carried a bouquet of hot pink roses and gerbera daisies.

The Maid of Honor was Shanna Attix, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Lauren Bundek, friend of the bride, Tracy Attix, sister-in-law of the bride, and Sara Brown, sister of the groom. The flower girl was Alyssa Attix, niece of the bride.

The Best Man was John Connell, friend of the groom. The groomsmen were Tony Connell, friend of the groom, Gilbert Attix III, brother of the bride, Jason Wiley, friend of the groom, Jonathan Barber Jr. and Justin Barber, nephews of the bride. The ring bearer was John Connell Jr., son of the best man.

The evening reception was held at the Middletown Memorial Hall.

The happy couple spent eight relaxing days honeymooning in Aruba and resides in Townsend with their two labs, Cooper and Holly.
