60th Wedding Anniversary

Lyn and Katherine (Allison) Crowley of Independence marked their 60th wedding anniversary, on October 23, 2009, with a celebratory dinner with family and a portion of the original wedding party. The evening consisted of dinner, reminiscing, toasts and dancing well in to the night. Lyn and Katherine have three children, Bradd and his wife, Marilyn of Prairie Village, KS, Mark and his wife, Susan of Independence, MO and Cathy of Independence, MO. They have been blessed with seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Lyn is a WWII veteran and one of the founders of Crowley, Wade, Milstead, Inc., an architectural-engineering firm in Independence. Katherine continues to work at CWM as the business administrator.
