Bantas celebrate 50th anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. P. Brooks Banta of Smyrna recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Ruth & Brooks were married September 19, 1959 at Ewell's-St. Paul United Methodist Church in Clayton, Delaware. The Rev. Frank O. Baynard performed the ceremony.
The anniversary celebration, given by their children, was held at the Buttery Restaurant in Lewes, Delaware.
The couple has two daughters, Terry Winkowski and Karen Burnett, and three grandsons, Brooks Burnett, Alex Winkowski and Chester Burnett. Also in attendance were son-in-law Tom Winkowski, Ruth's mother - Margaret Hurd, and close family friend, Al Falatko of Springfield, Virginia.
