Reese - Campbell Engagement Announced

Mr. and Mrs. Philip Syng Reese announce the engagement of their daughter, Natalie Averell du Pont of Wilmington, Delaware and Atlanta, Georgia to Ian Brear Campbell, MD of York, Pennsylvania and Atlanta, Georgia.

Miss Reese attended the Tatnall School in Wilmington and St. Andrew's in Middletown, Delaware, graduating summa cum-laude from St. Andrew's. While at St. Andrew's, she rowed on the varsity eight that won the 1997 Henley Royal Regatta. Subsequently, she attended Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire. At Dartmouth, she majored in history and rowed on the varsity crew. She graduated cum laude in 2002. After spending three years in San Francisco, Miss Reese moved to Atlanta where she currently resides. Recently, Miss Reese left her position as senior manager of Emory Executive Education to pursue her MBA at Emory University's Goizueta Business School.

Dr. Campbell grew up in York, Pennsylvania and graduated from Central York High School. He was the 1995 Pennsylvania state champion in the 110 meter hurdles. He graduated from Dartmouth College in 1999 with a major in psychology. After college, he worked in Los Angeles and San Francisco before returning east to attend medical school at Emory University in Atlanta. He graduated cum laude in May of 2009 and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He began his residency in radiology at Emory Hospital in June of 2009.

Miss Reese's father is Chairman of the Board of the Delaware Public Employees Retirement System. Her mother, Daphne, is the Executive Director of a family office in Wilmington.

Dr. Campbell is the son of Mel Campbell, Jr. who is president of Campbell, Harrington, & Brear Advertising Agency in York. His mother, Mitzi Bensinger, also resides in York.

A May 2010 wedding is planned in Wilmington.
