Morgan Muelenaer marries John Schulte

Morgan Elizabeth Muelenaer and John Charles Schulte were united in marriage on Saturday, June 20, 2009 in a late morning ceremony at the Covenant Presbyterian Church in Roanoke, Virginia. Co-Pastors Robert and Dusty Fiedler officiated and were assisted by the Reverends Rick and Lindsay Wessell, cousins of the bride, of Frankford, Delaware. A luncheon reception followed at The Vinton War Memorial, Vinton, Virginia.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents, Brian and Linda Muelenaer of Roanoke, Virginia. Morgan is the granddaughter of Amelia Muelenaer of Roanoke, formally of Smyrna, and the late Andre C. Muelenaer, C. Frederick Heinold Jr., Frances P. Heinold Newell and David I. Newell.
The groom is the son of David and Ann Schulte of Williamsburg, Virginia. He is the grandson of Evelyne and Charles Schulte of Reese, Michigan, and John and Joann Heiss of St. Clair, Michigan.
Laura Mills, of Frederick, Maryland, served as maid of honor for her friend. Bridesmaids were Kara Schulte, sister of the groom, of Arlington, Virginia and Kimberly H. Staub, cousin of the bride, of Newtown, Pennsylvania. The flower girl was Anna Heiss, cousin of the groom, of Wadhams, Michigan.
David Kirby, friend of the groom, of Williamsburg, Virginia served as best man. Groomsmen included Evan D. Muelenaer, brother of the bride, of Roanoke, Virginia and Alex Ross, friend of the groom, of Columbia, Maryland. The ring bearer was Ben Heiss, cousin of the groom, of Wadhams, Michigan.
Morgan was graduated from James Madison University in 2008 with a Master of Arts in Teaching. She is employed by Loudoun County Virginia Public Schools as a 2nd grade teacher.
John was graduated from James Madison University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Business Arts Degree in Economics. He is employed by Fannie Mae in Washington, D.C.
The newlyweds spent their honeymoon in Mexico and now reside in McLean, Virginia.
