Sloans welcome baby girl

Josh and Alicia Sloan are the proud parents of a daughter, Emma Marie Sloan. She was born July 17, 2009 at Centerpoint Medical Center. She weighed 8 pounds, 7 ounces and was 19 3/4 inches in length. Emma has one brother, Kaden. The maternal grandparents are Don and Anna Bridgforth of Independence, and the paternal grandparents are Russ and Margie Sloan of Sugar Creek. The paternal great-grandparents are John and Mary Sloan of Independence.
