Emma Brinkerhoff and Anthony Pipes

Roger and Shannon Brinkerhoff of Blue Springs are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Emma Brinkerhoff, to Anthony Pipes, son of Cheryl and Val Fogelberg and Vincent and Dawn Pipes of Merced, California. The bride-to-be is a 2007 graduate of Blue Springs High School and is currently attending Brigham Young University - Idaho. Her fiancé, Anthony is from Merced, California and is a 2005 graduate of Golden Valley High School and is also attending Brigham Young University - Idaho. Their marriage will take place in the Nauvoo Illinois LDS Temple on December 18, 2009.
A reception in their honor will be on December 19, 2009 at the Blue Springs LDS Chapel.

To the post above, fighting naked really isn't great advice! But something that has been really helpful in my marriage is realizing that ITS OKAY to not have a perfect relationship. ITS OKAY to have disagreements. Someone once told me the first 10 years are rocky so plan on making it work until it does. "All sun makes a desert!" Personally, I am grateful for the disagreements my husband and I have had because they have helped us grow closer together. That's the key - let your disagreements draw you closer together rather than tear you apart. Anyway, CONGRATULATIONS, good luck and hope the advice helps in your marriage! P.S. Talk now about how you like to vacation, i.e. relax a lot or be doing things every minute of the day. It will save you some disagreement on your honeymoon if you decide now how you want to vacation. It's something you never think to talk about!
