Obituary for Alfonso Maynes

Alfonso Maynes, Jr. of Rocky Ford, CO, entered into rest, January 2, 2010 at the Parkview Hospital in Pueblo, CO. He was born to Alfonso and Lupe Lavato Maynes, January 1, 1961 in La Junta, CO. He was 48 years of age.
Alfonso is survived by his father Alfonso Maynes, Sr. and Step Mother, Viola Apodoca, of Rocky Ford. Brothers; Leroy (Susie) Lovato of Ordway, David, Dennis and Joseph Maynes of Rocky Ford, Victor Maynes of Amarillo TX. Sisters; Sandy (Roger) Morgan of Denver, Barbara (Gilbert)Lopez of Amarillo, TX, MaryAnn (Manuel) Sandoval of Amarillo, TX and many nieces and nephews.
Alfonso was preceded in death by his mother Lupe Lavato Maynes and brother Kelly Maynes.
Alfonso enjoyed riding his bike and he loved his nieces and nephews dearly. He also loved all Colorado sport teams.
A Rosary will be held Friday, January 8, 2010 at 10:30 AM followed by a memorial Service at 11:00AM both services will be held at St. Peters Catholic Church in Rocky Ford
