Dorothy E. Pinamonte, 89, of La Junta passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2010 at the Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center. At her request cremation has taken place and no services at this time.
Dorothy was born on November 8, 1920 in Westfield, Mass to Frank & Olive (Lincoln) Hilbert. She married Bruno Pinamonte in 1947 in Brunswick, Maine.
She was a Registered Nurse at Parkview Hospital for many years. She was an avid reader and was a lifetime member of the La Junta Elks Lodge Does Drove.
Dorothy is survived by her son, Lance (Janet) Pinamonte of La Junta; grandchildren, Tasha, Travis and Shawn; five great-grandchildren also survive. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother.
