Sinclairs Celebrate 60 Years

Vern and Ruthel Sinclair of Independence, Missouri, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary recently with a family dinner hosted by their daughters. A surprise reception was also held at the Farview Restoration Branch where they attend. Vern and Ruthel were married on December 18, 1949 at the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in St. Louis, Missouri. They lived for a short time in Ann Arbor, Michigan before moving to Independence, Missouri in 1953 where they built their home in which they still currently reside. They have four daughters, (Marilyn, Carol, Barbara and Sandy), five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Vern retired from the Kansas City School District in 1984. Vern and Ruthel enjoy their lily pond and beautiful flowers, gardening, spending time with their grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a host of special friends.
