Elaine Louise Schultz of La Junta, Colorado entered into rest February 15, 2010 at St. Mary Corwin Hospital in Pueblo, Colorado. She was born July 24, 1927 to Christian and Agnes Schenck in Cicero, Illinois. Elaine was 82 years of age. She is survived by her husband Ralph Schultz of La Junta whom she married in 1948. Survived by Children; Christie (Walter) Anufryevas of Denver, Karen Schultz of La Junta, Carl Schultz of La Junta. Brothers; Robert (Marge) Schenck of Woods Cross, Utah, Chris (Marilyn) Schenck of Lehi, Utah. Sister; Mary Lynne Becker of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Three grand children, 1 step granddaughter, 4 great grandchildren.
She loved to read, especially the Bible. She also enjoyed bird watching, Outdoors, classical music, and walking. She was baptized as a Jehovah Witness in 1943. At the request of the family no services will be held at this time. Arrangements have been entrusted into the of Johnson-Romero Family Funeral Home of La Junta.
