Mrs. Carmen Gamez, 55, dies

Carmen Gamez, 55 passed away June 12, 2010.
She is preceded in death by her father, Ruben Silva, and her husband,
Francisco J. Gamez. Mrs. Gamez is survived by her mother, Carmen Silva
Anguiano; children, Ruben Gamez, Jesse (Taunya Gutierrez) Gamez, Susan
(Samuel Sanchez) Gamez, and Zully (Preston Loos) Gamez; grandchild Samuel
Francisco Sanchez; six sisters, one brother, numerous nieces, nephews
and her beloved dog, Chispa.
She lived for her children as they were her priority. She was also a devout
catholic. Carmen was a true humanitarian at heart and found joy in helping
everyone and being surrounded by family and friends. She worked in various
occupations throughout her life but her passion was being a preschool
teacher. The rosary will be at 7 p.m., Thursday, June 17, 2010 at Adrian
Comer Garden Chapel in Pueblo. The funeral mass will be at 9:30 a.m.,
at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, Friday, June 18, 2010, under the
direction of Adrian Comer Garden Chapel.
