Mr. Jay Tenn Grinstead dies in Texas

Jay Tenn Grinstead, 61, died in Lockney, Texas on May 27, 2010.

He was born on May 30, 1949 in Pueblo to Lawrence Edward Grinstead and Anna Laura (Scofield) Grinstead.

Mr. Grinstead was a long-time resident of Rocky Ford, where he owned and operated Gonn Trucking for more than 20 years with his partner and best friend Sherry Grinstead.

He is survived by his brother Charles (Sherry) Grinstead of Rocky Ford; nephews Lance (Rachel) Grinstead, Las Animas; Brad (Elizabeth) Grinstead, Sandusky, Ohio; brothers Glenn and Gail; sisters Coral, Elsie and Wilma; and, many other nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.

In lieu of food or flowers, send memorials to Jay T. Grinstead memorial fund at Colorado Bank & Trust, La Junta or Pueblo, to help the family defray extra expenses. Cremation occurred at Mr. Grinstead's request. Graveside memorial services will be conducted at Chico Cemetery in Pueblo on Monday, July 5, 2010 at 10 a.m. All are welcome to attend.
