Mr. Jacob Frederick Freidenberger dies

Jacob Frederick Freidenberger, 88, departed this life on July 4, 2010, in La Junta. Jacob was born September 4, 1921 in La Junta to Jacob & Evelyn Freidenberger.
He is survived by his daughter, Lila (Norman) Bailey; grandchildren, Jeff (Jaime) Bailey, Rick (Shannon) Bailey, Dave (Mollie) Bailey, and Michelle (Paul) Martinez; and eleven great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins survive.
Mr. Freidenberger was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Audrey Freidenberger, sisters, Martha Swan, Irene Miller, and Janette Whorton, brothers, Henry, Herb, and Byron Milburn, and his granddaughter Cari Shepherd.
A graveside memorial service will be Friday, July 9, 2010, at 11 a.m. at the Rocky Ford Cemetery with Reverend John Dell of the First Christian Church in Rocky Ford officiating. Military honors by the Rocky Ford Rifle Team, American Legion Post 8.
