Marry Elizabeth Warren, of Fort Collins, CO and former resident of La Junta, CO entered into rest, July 5, 2010. In Denver, CO. Mary was born, February 6, 1988 in La Junta. She was 22 years of age. Mary is survived by 4 sisters; Valerie Hernandez of La Junta, Lisa (Adam) Van Camp of Pueblo, Lora (Jay) Thomas of La Junta, and Cassie Hernandez of La Junta. Father, Jeff Warren of La Junta and Mother, Kathy Hernandez of La Junta. 3 nephews; Wyatt, Ethan and Robert and 1 niece, Mia.
Mary was a graduate of La Junta High School and she recently graduated from Colorado State University with a double major. She was accepted to the Peace Corp and was to leave to Kasakhstan, Russia in August. Mary was a loving sister and a very special friend to many. She was always smiling, joking and very happy. Mary was a very talented writer and poet. The environment was very important to her. She enjoyed working on crafts, hiking, music and especially loved spending time with her friends. Mary never let any circumstance hold her back, she set big goals and did not know the word impossible. She was beautiful inside and out.
A Service to celebrate Mary's life will be held, 1:00PM Monday, July 12, 2010 at the Crossroads Church in Swink . Pastor Mike Beecham will be officiating. Johnson-Romero Family Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
